Sometimes trainings - particularly on leadership - feel a bit forced to conform to a single approach, but this maintained a good tone of "here are some techniques and resources" rather than preaching "this is THE way of doing things". It recognized the reality that communication with colleagues does not follow a single model and you may need to call upon different skillsets or techniques to engage or draw out the info from team members with different communication styles and personalities.
