About Laurel
As an educator and HR leader with over 20 years of experience supporting entry-level to C-suite talent, I partner with organizations, teams, and individuals to increase their effectiveness and resilience.
After receiving my Master of Science (MS) degree focused on experiential education, I worked in values-driven organizations in roles of increasing responsibility. While at NatureBridge, I was the National Director of HR, providing leadership, training, and consultation to multiple functional groups (C-suite, Finance, Sales, IT, Educational Programming, Operations, Risk Management, and Hospitality Services) for an $18M organization operating in six US states.
In 2022, I founded my consulting company to expand my impact knowing that there is a growing need for support of leaders facing increasing challenges in employee wellbeing and retention. Both directly and through others I have served over 40 organizations in industries including Higher Education, Environmental Non-profits, Arts Non-profits, Education Technology, Legal, Software, Insurance, Engineering, E-commerce, Construction, and Environmental Consulting.
In addition to my experience leading the development and retention of talent, I completed specific training and certifications in HR and coaching, which enable me to support my client companies with best practices in both. Certifications include Society for Human Resource Management- Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), International Coaching Federation- Professional Certified Coach (PCC), and Certified Co-Active Professional Coach (CPCC).
